Ways to Get Involved

Associate Editors: Becoming a member of the editorial board of the journal requires approval of the Conference Editorial Board (CEB). Associate Editors are expected to have a PhD in a relevant field and a significant publication record in relevant academic journals. If you feel you meet these qualifications, you may submit a nomination for yourself in PaperPlaza. Scroll down to "Awards, Nominations" and click on "Submit a nomination" on the right side. On the next page, find OJ-CSYS on the list, click on "Submit" and follow the prompts. You will need at least one letter of recommendation.

Reviewers: If you are not yet ready to become part of the editorial board, becoming a reviewer is an excellent way to help the journal and gain experience. Reviewers are an integral part of the success of the OJ-CSYS.

We uphold the highest standards for our peer-reviewed papers, and reviewers help by selecting only the most qualified papers. Reviewers are picked for being leading researchers in the field, likely having authored relevant papers that have been previously presented in high-profile journals and conferences.

Reviewers will need to contact the OJ-CSYS editorial assistant after setting themselves up on the Submission Site. Guidelines for reviewers can be found on the For Reviewers page.

Authors are encouraged to submit their papers after setting themselves up on the Submission Site. The Author Guidelines and other helpful tools can be found under For Authors. Please also feel free to reach out to the OJ-CSYS editorial assistant with any questions.

Guest Senior Editors are renowned experts in the field their Special Section focuses on. The OJ-CSYS accepts proposals for Special Sections covering state-of-the-art topics that contribute to a growing area of interest. To be considered as a Guest Senior Editor of a Special Section, first view the Special Section Proposal Guidelines. You may then submit a proposal via the online submission system. Proposals should include a timeline, specific topics, list of potential guest associate editors that would assist with the review process, as well as a list of potential authors.
