Peter Seiler

Peter Seiler is an Associate Professor in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science department at the University of Michigan. He works in the area of robust control theory, which focuses on the impact of model uncertainty on systems design. He is a contributor to the Robust Control Toolbox in Matlab. He is currently developing theoretical and numerical algorithms to assess the robustness of systems on finite time horizons.


Stephen Smith

Stephen Smith is a Canada Research Chair in Autonomous Systems and a Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo, where he directs the Autonomous Systems Lab. He is co-director of the Waterloo Artificial Intelligence Institute. His research interests are in the control of autonomous systems, robot motion planning and coordination, along with applied combinatorial optimization.
