Solmaz S. Kia is Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of California at Irvine. Her research interests include networked control systems, decentralized/distributed algorithm design for multi-agent systems, nonlinear control theory and robotics.

Masako Kishida is an Associate Professor at the National Institute of Informatics in Tokyo, Japan. Her research interests include networked control systems, optimization, and uncertainty analysis. She is currently a JST PREST Researcher and a senior member of IEEE.

Jun Liu is an Associate Professor of Applied Mathematics and directs the Hybrid Systems Laboratory. Liu is a senior member of IEEE, a member of SIAM, and a lifetime member of CAIMS. He has served on the editorial boards and program committees of several journals and conferences, including Automatica, Nonlinear Analysis: Hybrid Systems, Systems & Control Letters, the IEEE Conference on Decision and Control (CDC), and the American Control Conference (ACC).

Johanna L. Mathieu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Prior to that she was a postdoctoral researcher at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich, Switzerland. Her research interests include modeling, estimation, control, and optimization of distributed energy resources.

Negar Mehr is an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She is also affiliated with the Coordinated Science Laboratory and the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at UIUC. Her research interests lie at the intersection of control theory, game theory, and machine learning.

Fei Miao is the Pratt & Whitney Associate Professor of the School of Computing and a Courtesy Faculty of the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Connecticut. She is also affiliated to the Institute of Advanced Systems Engineering and Eversource Energy Center. She is a recipient of the NSF CAREER award, among other awards from NSF.

Cameron Nowzari is currently an Associate Professor with the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at George Mason University in Virginia. He has received several awards including the American Automatic Control Council’s O. Hugo Schuck Best Paper Award, the IEEE Control Systems Magazine Outstanding Paper Award, and the Office of Naval Research’s Young Investigator Program (YIP) Award.

Carlos Ocampo-Martinez is an Associate Professor at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Spain. His research interests include constrained model predictive control, large-scale systems management, process control and industrial applications.

Tiago Roux Oliveira is a control theorist and Associate Professor at State University of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. He has published more than 65-refereed journal articles and more than 140-refereed conference papers.
